When I wrote my blog this time last year I didn’t expect that in December 21 I would be avoiding a new Covid variant, concerned that we may not be spending Christmas together as a family and keeping myself super safe to stay healthy.
It’s been another emotional year…highs and lows throughout the world.
You can’t change what’s happening around you but you can look inwards to explore what you’ve learned and how you want your future to be.
As the year draws to a close I like to reflect on how it’s gone for me.
I always ask myself a selection of questions to gain the understanding, wisdom and clarity I need to start the new year focused on the most important things…the things that bring me joy.
My 2021 personal reflections.
If that sounds like something you want to do too then here’s the questions I ask myself…
My Questions for 2021
- What did I enjoy most?
- What did I enjoy least?
- What did I miss most?
- How have I grown as a person?
- What’s been the biggest learning for me?
- What will I say goodbye to?
- What do I want more of going forward?
This is my list but you may have additional questions you want to ask yourself.
I absolutely love what I do…it enriches my life and serves my life purpose. If you’re in a job you don’t enjoy you may want to explore what you would really love to do instead.
Use my questions as a guide and even if you don’t add any of your own, these will give you some great insights to take into the new year.

Give yourself the time
You’ve seen my headlines but they are simply the summary of my responses.
The most important thing is that you give yourself the time you need to explore your own responses.
The details you uncover will give you the juice you need to make 2022 more aligned to the life you want to live.
Be sure to award yourself that time…you really are worth it.
Wherever you are and whatever you do I wish you a very happy and healthy Christmas filled with magic.
Be kind to others and equally importantly, be kind to yourself!
See you in 2022!
Leigh 😊
PS Wishing you a happy and very healthy Christmas
