For a team which thrives on a lively team culture, long periods working from home proved quite a challenge. The circumstances called for a mindset, confidence and belief boost… and sales techniques to succeed in the post-covid world.

The Challenge

Passion Pictures, like many companies, had experienced many challenges during the Covid pandemic. Having created an extremely strong, dynamic and supporting working culture when everyone worked in the office, team members found working from home much more challenging.

Over time this increasingly highlighted the need for extra support, guidance and skills upgrade to maintain a strong and successful sales, marketing and communications ethos.

Additionally Passion had several team members whose roles were more production based and the requirement was for those people to embrace a more sales and commercially focussed outlook. This would need to include the identifying of opportunities, generating leads, developing relationships and ultimately achieving higher levels of sales.

The Plan

Lucie had worked with Leigh and given those previous experiences always knew that come the right time, Leigh would be back!

A training plan was discussed and agreed, containing two separate programmes;

  • Creating a Positive Sales Growth Mindset
  • Generating Leads via LinkedIn

Several sessions were delivered live virtually on Zoom to two groups over several weeks, with some people overlapping between each group.


Immediate Wins

As the sessions rolled out, immediate gains ensued; increased confidence and belief in their ability to succeed, aligned to the tangible skills and tools they had discovered, or re-discovered. Everyone felt re-enforced in the things they were doing right, and empowered to try out new techniques and ideas. Individual attendees embraced different gains from each session.

Embedding sales mindset development and performance improvements

A few months after completion of the training programmes, those who attended are continuing to thrive on the boost of inspiration, confidence, reassurance and practical skills that Leigh shared. All in all they have made positive steps forward towards the growth in Passion Pictures – exactly mirroring the objectives set at the start.
